7 Afternoon Tea's I've had to try for you...
It's been hard, but someone had to do it and the variety on offer in London is so good at the moment, the timing is perfect for Afternoon Tea Week.
Afternoon Tea was established by Anne, Duchess of Bedford in 1840. It is said that she needed something mid-afternoon to help that ‘sinking feeling’ between meals. I just love that since then, afternoon tea has become somewhat of a meal in itself. In my research of all these meals, I really can’t eat anything else for the rest of the day.
I’ve been very excited by all the tea’s I’ve eaten this year. The imagination and creativity is what makes them special. This year Afternoon Tea Week run from 12-18 August; often there are little extra’s and offer’s so it worth making a booking sooner rather than later.
