Colourscapes 2024
If you’re searching for a truly unique and immersive experience in London, look no further than Colourscapes.
Colourscapes arrives in London on the 14 September. It is a mesmerising interactive art installation that invites visitors to explore a labyrinth of vibrant, inflatable tunnels and chambers. We missed this last year, so ahead of its schedule in London we went to Watford to see if it really is worth a visit.
Colourscapes is an extraordinary art installation that transforms the way you experience colour, light, and sound, inviting you to step into a kaleidoscopic world that’s as much about exploration as it is about art.
As you start your journey through the maze, you will be given a coloured cape to help immerse you in the world of vivid colours and shifting light. Each area offers a unique sensory experience, making Colourscapes a captivating and playful escape from the everyday.
One of the most exciting aspects of Colourscapes is its integration of live instrumental music. The music varies, from Far Eastern to Chinese percussion instruments, the result is a constantly evolving environment where the interplay of sound and colour creates a new experience each time you visit.
Perfect for all ages, it's an unforgettable way to engage with art in a truly immersive environment. For children, it’s a playful wonderland of colour and sound, where they can run, explore, and engage with the space in a way that’s both fun and imaginative. For adults, it offers a chance to step out of the everyday and into a world where art and music combine to create something truly magical.
The installation is open for a limited time, tickets sold out last year before it even opened, so this is your two week warning.
Colourscape : Opens 14 - 22 September 2024 on Clapham Common.
Tickets for adults cost £12 and £6 for children. There are lots of concessions.
